Gasification was an important and common technology during the 19th and early 20th century. Town gas produced from coal was widely used, mainly for lighting purposes. When stationary internal combustion engines based on the Otto cycle became available in the 1870s, they began displacing steam engines as prime movers in many works requiring stationary motive power. Adoption accelerated after the Otto engine's patent expired in 1886. The potential and practical applicability of gasification to internal combustion engines were well understood from the earliest days of their development.

Principle of biomass gasifier stove

Based on the combination of biomass characteristics and rapid pyrolysis equipment, the fluidized bed semi-coke gasification and biomass hydropyrolysis technology are coupled. Its technical principles include: hydrogen pyrolysis technology, semi-coke gasification technology, gas purification technology, the whole process has no secondary pollution, no exhaust gas emissions, and no dioxin generation.

(1) Raw material pretreatment

After being crushed by the pulverizer, the biomass raw materials enter the drying and lifting device, and the biomass particles are dried and upgraded using low-temperature flue gas at about 120°C to remove moisture.

The gas at the outlet of the gasifier is returned to the bottom of the fluidized bed as the raw material for gasification through the semi-coke and carrier through the first and second horizontal gas-solid high-efficiency separation of the gas and solid; the fine powder separated by the three-stage separator is sent as silicon potash fertilizer . After dust removal, the gas enters the waste heat boiler to recover heat, and then is purified by a two-stage moving bed, cooled and sent to the power generation system.
